| St. Peter Catholic School in Deland, Florida has over a 50-year tradition of excellence in education and we continue to uphold the traditions of the past while looking into the future. Our mission, "St. Peter Catholic School is a Pre-K through 8th grade ministry of St. Peter Catholic Parish, which serves the families of Deland and the greater Volusia county. We are a faith-filled community committed to proclaiming the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. We cultivate responsible, respectful, trustworthy, well-educated individuals who are confident in their knowledge and compassionate in His service.", this describes our dedication to each student entrusted to our care. |
| Our philosophical approach is to teach the "whole child." We attend to our students' spiritual development in all areas of learning: physical, social, emotional, and academic. We encourage our students' love of music, drama and art. We want them to play team sports and have recess daily. We want our students to love to learn. Our goal is that our graduates will grow to be well rounded, contributing members of society. |
